About John J. McMaster

Attorney McMaster graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law, graduating with honors. He has worked as a police officer for various departments in Massachusetts, an Assistant District Attorney for Worcester County and has thirty years of experience as a lawyer. Attorney McMaster has concentrated his legal practice in the areas of personal injury, with a specific niche developed in insurance denials. He also represents police officers injured in the line of duty, and has extensive experience in handling trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

John is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association and is on the Board of Governors for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the federal U.S. District Courts of Massachusetts and Western New York.

The Worcester County Bar Association is a voluntary association of over 1000 members. The purpose of the association is to maintain the honor of the profession, to promote the administration of justice, to advance the science of jurisprudence, to promote legal education and to foster and encourage cooperation and good fellowship among the members of the bar.

The Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys is an association of Massachusetts attorneys that represent injured persons. The main goal of the academy is to protect Massachusetts residents’ rights when they are injured and to protect their constitutional right to a jury trial in civil claims. Attorney McMaster is not only a long-standing member of this organization but is also on the Board of Governors.
